Boeing Commercial Airplanes
With our Boeing Commercial Airplanes project for the Paris Air Show, we got to do a whole lot of nothing. By printing a run of 5,000 bold, intelligently designed brochures on 100% post-consumer recycled paper produced by wind-generated power, we helped Boeing measure some impressive environmental results with just one brochure printing.
We’re also pleased to work with other environmentally conscious clients: BECU, Hines, Oldcastle Precast and Silver Creek Outfitters.
Around The House
Turning a 1904 house into office space for 25 turned out to be an environmentally savvy project that’s already paying off. An abundance of natural light saves on electricity consumption, which is further lessened by keeping our servers in the basement where it stays cool year round-without air conditioning. We don’t use chemical fixatives, partly to be green and also because we don’t like the smell. And the huge trees lining the property are helping to remove carbon dioxide and contaminants from the air 365 days a year.
In The Community
Besides biking to work, the team at PBDH participates in the annual Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic. The proceeds go toward education and advocacy to promote a more bicycle-friendly environment and a more livable place for bicyclists and the community. We have also committed resources to the Seattle Audubon Society, Back Country Alliance, Greenpeace, Nature Conservancy and the Sawtooth Recreation Area.
