Seattle, WA – June 2010 – Phinney Bischoff Design House (PBDH), a Seattle-based brand design firm, recently hired two new members to join our team.

We are excited to announce the hiring of Darren Kovalchik as an Interactive Developer. Prior to joining PBDH, Darren worked as a UI Engineer for a Seattle-based SEO startup.

Darren brings nearly half a decade of experience in web development and production to PBDH. He has worked with clients such as the Downtown Seattle Association, the Port of Seattle, and the Metropolitan Improvement District to conceptualize and implement many web projects. He holds a BA in creative writing and Post-Bachelor training in web development from Western Washington University in Bellingham.

We have also added Rebecca Arbeene as Strategist/Account Manager. Prior to joining Phinney Bischoff Design House Rebecca was an Account Executive at a Seattle-based design, advertising and direct-response agency.

Rebecca’s commitment to client services combined with her project management capabilities have helped to build strong partnerships with clients like Holland America Line, Microsoft and Consolidated Restaurants. She has enjoyed executing successful campaigns with brand development, direct mail, advertising, marketing collateral, fundraising, and interactive components. Rebecca’s background in event planning, government relations, and non-profit leadership round out her integrated communications expertise.
